I would first like to thank the club for giving me the opportunity to judge at this show. It was pleasing to see generally dogs of correct size, spanable, clean teeth and good bite and true to type. Generally the dogs moved very well and are a credit to the owners & handlers.

Minor Puppy Dog

  1. Rimmer- Kylini Hocus Pocus; Liked this puppy a lot correct bite and ear set good head nice lay of shoulder good angulation good front nice coat and pelt moved exceptional interested to see as he matures.

  2. Stanway- Bramarno Kaptain Eisbeiber; Young dog correct bite and ear set nice back with rise of loin didn’t make handlers job easy at times on the move.

  3. Denby-Gardner - Tubize Mr Wriggle at Ammanday

 

Puppy Dog

  1. Newport & Baker- Sweetjumpers Gentle Twister (IMP DNK); This puppy caught my eye on entering the ring well put together puppy nice bite preferred head of 2nd lovely tight feet, good coat and pelt moved very well owning the ring. Nice size pushed hard for BP one to watch in the future. (RBP)

Junior Dog

  1. Jones- Neelans American Dream; Nice youngster good bite, dark eye with keen expression .lovely head .good tail set and rear angulation good coat and pelt good movement nice balanced dog.

  2. Neild- Logierait Lexi of Lochinvar; Correct bite and reach of neck good coat and pelt nice feet , bit deep in chest for me and not keen on tail but moved well

  1. Blair & Hadley- Cleeve Hill Kasper; Good old type white dog, dark eye keen expression good coat , pelt & raise of loin good movement, very alert dog, easily do a days work . RBD

  2. Broadberry - Ratscallion Tactical Move; Liked the head on this dog correct bite nice coat good feet size good movement when settled down for young handler.

  1. Vaughan- Ch Parruss Comanche Chief JW SHCM; Been waiting a long time to go over this dog well balanced dog perfect size Lovely head ,good pigmentation correct bite, nice raise of loin ,spannable. good coat ,typical old type parson moved well, would do the job they were bred for pleasure to go over BIS

  2. Highfield - Bradpole Beau of Gestwick; Another true type terrier good bite ear set and pigment good reach of neck sloping nicely into shoulders good coat & pelt nice angulation .moved well

  3. Smith and Moon - Alncroft Imperial

Veteran Bitch 
This was an amazing class the veterans really still know how to go and all in good condition would of liked to place them all. Well done to all.

  1. White - Ebblechase Rosanna; Typical of the old type. This 8yr smooth bitch. Good head ear set and good tail set and raise of loin .tight feet good slope of shouders, spannable , nice smooth coat and pelt moved well. B.V

  2. Highfield - Guestwick Lindy Loo of Bradfield; Well what can I say this bitch is 12 yrs old and still going strong another old type parson in very good condition credit to the owner so close to giving 1st.

  1. Rimmer- Kylini Magical Myst; Another very nice puppy from this kennels. Very feminime bitch, correct bite & ear set lovely head dark eye, good coat and pelt. nice size .very nice on the move.

  2. Highfield- Bradpole Barley Sugar; Nice bitch correct bite lovely head ,ear set. good tight feet another old type.

  1. Tinegate - Milvinae All Aboard; Another one that caught my eye as entered the ring.Beautifull puppy nice size keen expression, almond shape eye. lovely head good coat & pelt ,tight feet, good angulation moved very well  one to watch in the future.BP 

  2. Minnet - Rountfelley Beajewelled; Another nice puppy good head , ear set, coat, pelt & tail set moved well.

  1. Chaffe - Ticcalilli Twitchytail; Another old type femine bitch correct bite good coat pelt, tail set tight feet correct raise of loin moved well very pleasing. Stood alone but worth a 1st.

  1. Meyer - Cocklestane Cinnamon; correct bite dark eye good coat & pelt good feet & tail set beautifull movement which gave her the class.

  2. Fielding - Matsstars Lady Mantle at Starfield; another lovely old type bitch lovely head correct bite nice raise over loin nice femine bitch .

  3. Portleberry Forget Me Not 

 

Limit Bitch

  1. Highfeild - Bradpole Blow the Socks Off; typical old type parson correct bite & ear set raise of loin coat & pelt good feet moved well very pleasing to see.

  2. Tinegate - Gonetoground Gogo Girl; another old type bitch nice head correct bite good coat & pelt moved well pushed hard for 1st

I'd like to thank all the exhibitors for their support and an enjoyable day judging their terriers, such a pity there were so many absent. Best Bitch, BIS BOB, Chapman’s Foxwarren Lollipop. Res Best Bitch Res BIS, Baker’s Pacolito Redesigned. These two bitches are very nice would be happy to have both at home. Lollipop won it as she had the happier temperament and was more showy in the ring.

  1. Chapman’s - Foxwarren Thomas; Very good condition for age, nice head, good neck , front, topline, tailset and angulation moved well with nice terrier attitude.

Puppy Dog

  1. Rimmer's - Kylini Hocus Pocus; Nice Broken coated dog, good shoulder, topline, rear angulation good bone, excellent tight feet, spanable, very masculine would prefer less prominent cheeks. Moved well. BPIS

  2. Denby-Gardner's - Tubize Mr Wriggle at Ammanday; 10 month old dog. A bit tall already, masculine head, good shoulder, topline, tailset ok good coat goes close behind.

Junior Dog

  1. Rimmer's - Kylini Hocus Pocus.

  2. Newport’s - Sweetjumpers Gentle Twister; Nice head but eyes a little light, strong muzzle, good neck, topline and tailset. Nice angulation in front and behind, has nice compact feet. Lacks confidence this reflects in his movement.

Limit Dog

  1. Chapman’s - Foxwarren Picasso; Nice compact dog, nice head, good eye, good neck, good topline and tailset. Very good bone good angulation front and rear good coat and nice movement.

  2. Harris's - Gone to Ground Trick or Treat; Good head but eyes a little too light, shoulders too straight, good topline, tailset. Bone a bit light for his size, lacks impulsion behind, drops in front whilst moving,very good coat, spanable.

 

Open Dog

  1. Newport’s - Digaden Playing the Field; Very nice dog with a beautiful head would prefer a darker eye. Beautiful neck, topline, tailset, angles front and behind. Good bone would prefer more compact feet. Floating movement good coat and condition, spanable. BD & BOS

  2. Price’s - Rymshott Samo at Andralok; Very nice dog with a beautiful head and eyes, good neck, topline and tailset. Good shoulder, bone, rear angulation, excellent coat, spanable. Movement a bit out at elbow which affected his free movement. (Could just be a handling issue) RBD

  1. Newport’s - Pacolito Xceptional; Very nice 8yr old bitch, Beautiful head, ears, eyes a bit light. Beautiful neck , top line and tailset, good bone with nice angulation, movement and very good condition. BV

  2. Highfield’s -Guestwick Lindy Loo of Bradpole; Very nice 12yr old bitch with a pretty bead, dark eyes, good neck, topline and tailset. Good bone and condition for age.

  1. Vaughan’s - Bull Brothers Regal Ruby at Parruss (imp); Nice feminine puppy with a nice head, neck, topline and tailset. Shoulder a bit straight. Good front, bone, rear angulation, coat and good movement.

  2. Walker’s - Matsstars Moonshine; Very feminine puppy. A pity she is missing pigmentation around eyes, Very nice neck with good topline and tailset. Good front, bone, coat. In her movement she is not yet stable in the rear.

  1. Rimmer’s - Kylini Magical Myst; Nice, very happy bitch in the ring, nice head, ears and eyes.Very nice neck, good topline, tailset a bit low could have more rear angulation. Moves well.

  2. Highfield’s - Bradpole Barley Sugar; nice head, would like stronger muzzle, good neck, topline, tailset a bit low, straight shoulders would like more bone and angulation in rear. Good coat. Moved wide in front.

Junior Bitch

  1. Minett’s - Rountfelly Beajewelled; Very nice feminine bitch with nice head, good neck. Nice topline and tailset. Good shoulder, front, bone, angulation, coat. Spanable. Would like to see more compact feet. Moves nicely.

  2. Newport’s - Digaden Taylor Made; Nice bitch with a nice head ears a bit heavy. Nice neck, good topline and tailset. Nice shoulder, good front , nice angulation. Good coat moves well but missing temperament not sure in the ring.

  1. Luxton’s - Digaden Play Girl; Nice feminine bitch with a nice head, ears, would like darker eyes. Nice neck, topline and tailset. Would like to have more bone and nicer compact feet, nice angulation, good coat, spanable. Moves well.

  1. Baker's - Pacolito Redesigned; Very nice bitch with nice head, neck, feet, topline and tailset. Good shoulders, nice front, good bone with nice angulation, good coat , spanable. Moves well. RBB & RBIS

  2. Shelton’s- Boultmoor True Delight; Nice feminine bitch, nice head, good ears. Nice neck, topline and tailset. Good shoulders, front, bone and feet. Nice angulation good coat and nice temperament, spanable, moves well.

  2. Newport’s - Digaden Glamourous; Nice bitch with a nice head, good ears, could have bit darker eyes. Very nice neck, good topline but a bit long in the back. Nice tailset. Good front could have a bit more bone and nicer compact feet. Nice angulation, good coat spanable. Moves well.

  1. Miss Rimmer’s Brace; Nice couple same type and size, happy temperament and well presented.

  1. Autojax Sundance Kid; 8mths short coated tri coloured dog would not want to see him get any bigger. lovely masculine head broad between the ears dark expressive eye correct bite good shoulder and topline plenty of bone tight feet . Moved well but could not span as he was a bit overweight, slimmed down should do well.

 

Puppy Dog

  1. Heythrop Touch Of Class; correct for size excellent short harsh coat and loose pelt very easy to span, tan and white in colour good head shape dark eye ears in right place when he used them bite correct, good clean front to shoulder nice feet plenty hind angulation, tail set on ok moved straight in front needs to tighten in rear, a little overawed by atmosphere in the hall

 

Junior Dog

  1. Tubize Mr Wriggle At Ammanday; well up for size tan and white dog, good coat just about span able clean lines plenty bone , good head shape well set ear dark eye kind expression, topline and tail set ok moved well enough just needs to tighten a little in front

  2. Tubize Mr Sizzle; another well up for size which I would not have guessed would be from his sire, tricoloured large masculine head correct bite, plenty bone and good feet, harsh coat almost span able would like more bend of stifle, not really co-operating on the move

 

Novice Dog

  1. Logierat Lexi Of Lochinvar; dark tri dog correct size good masculine head using ears to give good expression dark eye correct bite, good reach of neck to clean shoulder plenty bone tight feet. Span able with good harsh coat and loose pelt well angulated fore and aft moving straight just not keen on curl to tail

  2. Ardencote Trilbee; Good sized dog tricoloured with pleasing head and cheeky expressive dark eye good to span, coat harsh, tight feet enough angulation to hind topline ok but not using tail active on the move but a touch wide in rear

  3. Autojax Sundance Kid

 

Limit Dog

  1. Alncroft Imperial; very eye catching tan and white dog good overall outline lovely masculine head eye colour in keeping with coat correct bite, good reach of neck set on clean shoulder plenty bone tight feet, spannable with short dense harsh coat, correct topline enough rear angulation tail never stopped wagging shown free standing free flowing active movement. RCC

  2. Sweetjumpers Gentle Twister (IMP DEN); another good overall outline just slightly stockier than but correct for size and very easy to span tan and white in colour dark eye with kind expression correct bite, would like a touch more reach of neck good for bone and tight feet, short harsh coat enough angulation fore and aft moving true and straight with plenty of activity.

  3. Gonetoground Trick Or Treat; slightly taller than first but still spanable excellent masculine head, correct bite, good expression, would like slightly smaller ears, plenty bone feet ok topline held on the move, enough hind angulation tail set ok moved with free action.

 

Open Dog

  1. Ch Rymshott Samo At Andralok; liked this dog from standing outside the ring and was not disappointed when I got to go over him, lovely overall outline correct for size, tan and white colour with full red head dark eye with alert sparkling expression ears set on well. Correct bite, good reach of neck clean shoulder down to plenty bone and tight feet, easy to span and good harsh coat and loose pelt, plenty hind angulation and well-muscled holds his tail well free flowing active workman like action, pleased to award him the CC

  2. Swe/Am Double Barrels Prime Altono; another dog I like very much correct for size and good overall outline good masculine head with dark eye and cheeky expression correct bite ear set good but can fly one ear at times, not too over muscled clean through front tight feet easy to span, harsh coat, free action on the move tail never stopped wagging, pushed very hard for the reserve cc

  3. Ch Paruss Comanche Chief JW;  smooth tri coloured dog pleasing masculine head dark eye kind expression correct bite not quite as clean in shoulder as first enough bone good feet easy to span well angulated front and rear moved steadily

 

Veteran Dog

  1. Frigarth Jack Frost; well-built large dog good head shape dark expressive eye correct bite enough reach of neck aa touch deep in chest making it a bit difficult to span him feet tight plenty hind angulation moving very well for his 1years and very light on his feet

 

Minor Puppy Btch

  1. Jutojax Foxy Lady; smart tri coloured bitch of 8mths lovely feminine head dark expressive eye correct bite , good reach of neck plenty bone, tight feet, well angulated in rear moving ok when she stopped sniffing floor, a tad overweight to span but could be promising if lost a couple of pounds

 

Puppy Bitch

  1. Matsstars Moonshine; all white pup with a great coat good overall outline correct size, fine feminine head correct bite dark eye, would maybe like a bit of pigment round eye but there is time for it to come, good arched neck clean shoulder, plenty bone and good feet, easy to span, correct topline held on the move, movement is excellent with great long stride and very showy a pleasure to give her BPIS

  2. Mudgi Meadowcroft Matilda; good sized tan and white pup again a feminine head with dark eye correct bite would like ears a tad smaller, good shoulder ok for bone and tight feet, short harsh coat plenty hind angulation, moved well once collar was up behind ear, tail could be up a bit more on the stand

  3. Gonetoground Try Try Again; Tri coloured bitch lovely head shape and dark kind eye correct bite, ears a tad large, not quite so clean thru shoulder as first but ok for bone and tight feet, nice harsh coat just span able enough hind angulation workmanlike on the move tail set on ok

 

Junior Bitch

This was, I think, the strongest class of the day.

  1. Milvinae All Aboard; well-proportioned tri coloured bitch with pleasing feminine head dark eye with kind expression correct bite, good reach of neck to good shoulder plenty bone and tight feet, excellent coat and pelt and easy to span, well angulated fore and aft, tail set ok moved with drive and purpose

  2. Rountfelly Beajewelled; close between this one and but this one was more alert in the final stand today, tan and white bitch pleasing feminine head dark eye colour in keeping with coat good crest neck clean front, harsh coat loose pet, easy to span, good angulation all round moved very well with tail held high

  3. Pacolito Phardante; Another very nice bitch tan and white coloured slightly lighter than good head shape correct bite clean shoulder well off for bone and tight feet, topline good and held on the move just enough hind angulation easy to span, good size moved very well , leaning back a bit a times on the stand

 

Novice Bitch

  1. Bradpoe Big Bickies Of Mudgi; nice tri coloured bitch feminine head correct bite dark eye, a little nervy today on the table, clean shoulder ok for bone and tight feet, span able, correct topline free and easy movement

 

Graduate Bitch

  1. Ardencote Triintimes; had choice Twix and as different head shapes both good, went for this tan and white one as a tad finer and more feminine dark eye correct bite ears ok when she decided to use them properly good overall size clean shoulder to enough bone and good feet good harsh coat and easy to span enough hind angulation very active free flowing movement

  2. Heythrop Tiffin; good head shape but a tad broader than correct ear set dark eye correct bite, good shoulder nice topline easy to span well angulated fore and aft, nice harsh coat could easily change places with on another day active movement

  3. Gonetoground Twist it up; fine bitch good for size ears a tad big dark eye correct bite enough bone and feet ok good hind angulation , still a little loose when moving, needs a little time to get used to the ring and atmosphere of a show

 

Post Graduate Bitch

A very mixed class of bitches here

  1. Ticcalilli Twitchytail; tri coloured bitch very nice head shape lovely expressive eye good ear set, good angulation all round span able tail set ok moved a little erratically at first but then settled

  2. Logierat Little Lottie; Lovely feminine head with dark eye and cheeky expression correct bite and ear set, clean shoulder easy to span harsh coat plenty angulation front and rear, strides out well tail curls quite a bit

  3. Digaden Taylor Made; bit bigger all over than and but still in proportion feminine head tri coloured, a tad heavy in shoulder good for bone and tight feet, great harsh coat good hind angulation moved out with good stride.

 

Limit Bitch

  1. Alncroft Maid An Issue At Springbeck JW; liked her as soon as she came in the ring eye catching well balanced bitch of correct size and proportion, great feminine wedge head with dark eye alert expression correct bite and good ear set, good reach neck to clean shoulder, correct topline held on the move, lovely harsh coat loose pelt and easy to span good for bone and tight feet very active and free movement could not deny her bitch CC and BIS

  2. Matsstars Lady’s Mantle At Starfield; tri coloured bitch lovely head shape dark eye correct bite good ear set, good for bone tight feet, easy to span harsh coat, enough angulation front and rear tails set ok moved out well

  3. Neelan's Practical Magic; Another tri coloured bitch good for size feminine head a touch longer in muzzle than and dark expressive eye , correct bite enough neck, f plenty bone feet ok, span able enough hind angulation moved out very well with drive.

 

Open Bitch

  1. Digaden Secret Affair; have judged her before as a youngster and she has come on very well good overall construction, balanced, tri coloured good feminine head dark eye correct bite ears ok neck set on well enough bone tight feet, good rear angulation span able tail set on well moved with drive and purpose RCC

  2. Hoolmark Belle Star; tan and white bitch well balanced would prefer head to be a tad more feminine good eye colour in keeping with coat correct bite good ear set clean lines over shoulder plenty bone and tight feet correct topline well angulated fore and aft, span able moved out very well

  3. Alncroft Sovereign At Lyonmill; another overall pleasing outline to this bitch feminine in head dark eye correct bit, good harsh coat and easy to span, clean shoulder good for bone tight feet, span able correct topline held on the move, moved out quite well

 

Veteran Bitch

A strong quality line up of good bitches here another very difficult class

  1. Ch Heythrop Tiadrop; 8yrs correct for size well-constructed bitch still in great condition good feminine head short harsh coat very easy to span, clean shoulder good crest to neck enough bone tight feet, topline correct and still held on the move which was clean and active BVIS

  2. Ch Pacolito Phantastic At Alncroft; 8yrs a slightly larger all over frame but still balanced eye catching tan and white colour, feminine in head dark eye good ear set, good shoulder plenty bone to tight feet well let down hock, moved out very well with plenty drive

  3. Janey Of St Clair At Logierat; almost 1yrs lovely older lady giving and at least years, lovely size balanced good feminine head still dark eye with plenty expression correct ear set, neck set on well , good rear angulation , moving out well but a bit of the old “Elvis leg” when standing,
